Since the creation of the company nearly 40 years ago, Apple has earned a reputation for its innovative devices. Over that period more than a dozen different types of device have been launched and gained extraordinary popularity.
The Cupertino based company has revolutionised the world of smartphones and tablets. Steve Jobs, Apple’s late, former head, proved the superiority of touch screen devices, demonstrating that this genre was more intuitive and easier to use than push-button devices.
The American giant continues to develop the iPhone lineup, gradually improving the functionality of the smartphone. They have also pushed ahead with the development of the iPad range of tablets, so there is now an extensive range of tablet computers and smartphones running on iOS, that many deem to be the best mobile operating system.
According to analysts at the beginning of 2014, around half of Americans use Apple products. This indicates the high quality of electronic devices that the company produces and explains their almost legendary status.
The iPhone smartphone is also popular across Europe and into other areas such as the post-Soviet countries, where the previous generation models are a huge success, as they are much cheaper than the latest smartphones.
